Last night Big Brother Naija 2019 Housemate, Chukwuemeka Okoye better known as Frodd surprised everyone when he broke down in tears as he narrated his audition tales.

And just as I promised, I did a little digging to get to the bottom of it.

There were mixed reactions from viewers, some felt the ‘outburst’ was a strategy to capture the hearts of viewers while others thought not.

However a Twitter user with the handle @surboi has come out to speak on behalf of Frodd, vouching for his honesty.

He revealed he was friends with Frodd and Frodd wasn’t capable of pretense or telling a lie.

He went further to disclose the real reason behind the tears that was shed last night. Apparently during the course of fighting to get into the BBNaija house, his mum underwent a surgery and it really broke his heart.

Sharing photos of his whatsapp conversations with Frodd and photo of Frodd’s mum on a hospital bed, the twitter user wrote;

“To those of you thinking Frodd is playing the emotional card here, this was my chat with him 2months ago… Frodd is truly a honest guy.. I’m here to verify every thing he says on tv.”
